This Coronet R/T is an outstanding example of a '60's Muscle Car.   As a matter of fact, 1967 was the very first year that Dodge put the "R/T" badge on any car making it Dodges first officially badged Muscle Car ever!   The only things keeping this car from being 100% stock would be some tasteful '70's add-ons done to it back in the day that are all easily changed back. Some of the modifications are an electronic ignition, a Hurst Shifter, headers with high flow 2 1/2" dual exhaust, a Holly carb, a deep oil pan, auxiliary gauges under the dash, rear shocks and a few chromed items under the hood.  Actually, all are pretty nice add ons!  The panel gaps are all excellent and the doors, hood and trunk all open and close smoothly.  The previous owner shared with me that several years ago it had just one repaint of the original Black color.  He also told me that the engine was rebuilt using hardened valve seats and the trans was gone through with new syncros.  It is nice and tight, sounds healthy and it runs and drives great and looks even better!  The car is in beautiful condition, is incredibly rare and is investment quality.

MuscleMopars just sold these 4 nice GM Convertibles for an Estate recently!
1967 Dodge Coronet R/T
This is a very nice mostly original pretty much unrestored car that has had one quality repaint back in the '80's and has been kept in excellent condition since by its current owner for the last 29 years.  It is a numbers matching car that has the original components like the engine, transmission, radiator, carburetor, air cleaner, etc...  The engine and the transmission were fully rebuilt several years ago and it still runs and drives like a dream, a good dream!  The body is rust free and the paint still looks great.  The underside is mostly original with some black out done to help preserve it.  No rust under there either!  This car was a southern car from the beginning and sold new in Louisiana.  When it came north to MN it was always garaged and never driven in the winter.  The odometer reads 36793 miles but no verification if that is actual.  The car is documented with its original fender tag, VIN tag, owners manual, Certi-card and a partial broadcast sheet.  This R/T is a factory HP 440, 727 console automatic car and loaded with factory options including bucket seats, A/C, power steering, power brakes, dual mirrors, tinted glass all, AM radio, clock, full horn ring, 3.23 8 2/4 sure grip rear end, 26" radiator, bumper guards and more!  Some newer items installed are Hemi rear leaf springs, battery, ignition wires, belts, and more.  You will notice that the car has the antenna on the right rear 1/4.  As the story goes the car was ordered by the original owner from the factory "antenna delete" as evidence of no front right fender antenna ever being installed, I checked!  The owner wanted a rear antenna that had the "swept back" look so the dealer installed one and it was on the car when purchased new and has been there ever since!  The car also came from the factory with a Black vinyl top but it was left off when it was repainted years ago.  It would be easy to put one back on as the original moldings are all still on it.  The car has chrome magnum 500 wheels on it now but came originally with Red painted steel wheels and hub caps, which are all there and will also come with the car.  It has correct reproduction vintage belted Redline tires on it now also.  The car is in great shape and has been used as a show car and nice day driver for most of its life.  It has won many trophies and awards over the years and still looks great today!

An "ORIGINAL PAINT" 1969 Dodge Charger

This is a clean original sheet metal southern car that still has its original paint with excellent patina!  It is a numbers matching HP big block 383 Magnum '69 Charger loaded with nice options like bucket seats and a console automatic transmission, air conditioning, power brakes, power steering, light package, AM radio, woodgrain steering wheel, tinted glass, dual exhaust and more!  It has also been decoded as an "A41" code "Charger Spring Special" car.

A few years ago this nice car was removed from storage and a few things were done to make it a safe reliable driver.  The engine and trans were both rebuilt, gas tank was replaced, new dual exhaust system installed, radiator recored, new alternator, new shocks, new fluids, tuned up, etc.  The seats were redone with top of the line Legendary brand, new door panels, new headliner and new carpet.  The paint was left original and as you can see it has very nice patina and the car is very clean.  It was originally from Arkansas so it is very clean and solid.  There is only a little rust down low in the lower right rear quarter and a little bit in the center of the trunk floor but mostly surface rust up under the trunk mat.  The rest of the trunk is solid!  The original trunk mat is still in the car and is a kind of brittle so I haven't pulled it up and out of there.  Also under the vinyl top there is some surface rust showing and I have a brand new vinyl top to go with the car so that could be improved if you want to.  Overall this car is 99% rust free and rock solid!

It runs and drives very good, sounds great and turns head and draws a crowd everywhere you take it.  Even at a car show where there are cars with $100K restorations, this car will draw a crowd!  Cars with nearly 50 year old paint just aren't that common, especially a muscle car!  It still has the vintage ET slotted mags on it from back in the day and they look great!  The headlights function properly but the A/C does not blow cold so it might need a recharge or other work to operate properly.  It looks like everything is there and intact.  It also has its original fender tag and the original broadcast sheet!  This is a nice running, good looking original HP BIG BLOCK 1969 Dodge Charger that you can drive and enjoy right now and or you can improve it over time if you feel like doing that.

Check out the video link below and see how nice and easy it starts up and how smooth and strong it runs!
