HORSHAM, Pa. – CRC Industries, a global leader in specialty chemicals for automotive and industrial maintenance and repair, announced that its hydrogen-powered 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air sold for $100,000 as a featured charity vehicle at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction on January 21, 2026. Built for the company’s Build for the Future scholarship initiative, the full vehicle hammer price will benefit TechForce Foundation—the nonprofit dedicated to supporting students pursuing careers in the skilled trades.

The winning bidder was Devin Smith, owner of Southern Elite Contracting, Inc., a general contracting firm with nine locations across the Southeast and more than 500 employees working in the skilled trades, in jobs including framing, electrical, HVAC, flooring and painting. Smith raised the final bid from $80,000 to $100,000 to maximize the impact of the scholarship effort.

“When the bidding reached $80,000, I felt a strong personal conviction to push it further to support this important mission,” said Smith. “My wife has been a teacher for 21 years and my business relies on skilled tradespeople every day. This purchase allows us to combine our love of classic cars with our calling to be good stewards, while supporting education.”

The cherry-red Bel Air marked Barrett-Jackson’s first-ever sale of a hydrogen-powered vehicle, drawing a large, enthusiastic crowd. Bidding was intensified by NHRA Top Fuel world champion Clay Millican who acted as vehicle spokesperson on the block and, together with Jeff and Jeffrey Lutz of Lutz Race Cars, was a builder of the vehicle. Millican contributed one of his racing firesuits to the auction package to entice higher bids.

“Reaching $100,000 at Barrett-Jackson validates the vision behind the Build for the Future initiative,” said Len Mazzanti, CEO of CRC Industries. “The 1957 Bel Air was a labor of love for our team and our partners. Now, its impact will extend beyond the auction block, with every dollar supporting student access to training that will help to close the skilled technician shortage.”

The one-of-a-kind 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air features a hydrogen-fueled 5.7-liter Gen 3 HEMI V8 engine, built by Mike Copeland, CEO of Arrington Performance, and paired with an Edelbrock 2650 supercharger to deliver 500 horsepower. Additional upgrades include a TCI automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning and a custom red-and-black interior.

The Build for the Future scholarship awards financial support to 10 students pursuing technical school education (five scholarships for automotive trades and five for industrial or welding careers). Of these scholarships, three are awarded to women. Each recipient is guaranteed a minimum of $2,500, with the possibility of up to $8,000, depending on auction proceeds. When an auction exceeds $80,000, excess funds are donated to TechForce Foundation to provide additional scholarships.

In addition to the Bel Air, other Build for the Future builds have included a 2006 Pontiac GTO (2023), which sold at Mecum Auctions in May 2025, and a 1977 Chevrolet C10 Pro-Street truck, which debuted at SEMA 2025. That vehicle will tour throughout 2026—including an appearance at Sick Week 2026, where Jeffrey Lutz Jr. will race it against his record-holding father, Jeff Lutz—and will be auctioned in 2027.

CHEVROLET – On Saturday, January 24, a bespoke 1-of-1 Stars & Steel-inspired Corvette ZR1X – based on the fastest car from an American manufacturer to lap the Nürburgring Nordschleife – sold at the Barrett-Jackson 2026 Scottsdale Auction for $2.6 million.

100 percent of the hammer price of this Corvette ZR1X benefits the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Tunnel to Towers was selected as the recipient to recognize their mission to provide mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children, building custom smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders, and providing housing and services for homeless veterans. This mission mirrors the American pride Chevrolet celebrates with the Stars & Steel collection in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States.

“To honor those who serve, Chevrolet created a 1-of-1 edition of America’s quickest production car, the Corvette ZR1X,” said Scott Bell, vice president, Global Chevrolet. “We’re proud to know the winning bid will go directly to supporting first responders and veterans in need across the United States through the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.”

The winner, Rick Hendrick, chairman and CEO of Hendrick Automotive Group and owner of Hendrick Motorsports, will receive the 1-of-1 Stars & Steel-inspired Corvette ZR1X hand-painted by experts at General Motors’ Design Fabrication shop in a custom Dark Satin Steel finish, with blue features across the car including brake calipers, Santorini Blue interior and blue accents on the Carbon Aero rear wing. They will also receive the opportunity to build the twin-turbo V8 engine that powers their ZR1X’s rear wheels, the first-ever Corvette delivery at the GM Design Dome, and curated memorabilia.

Turning Performance into Purpose for America’s Veterans

GM and Chevrolet maintain a long-standing relationship with Tunnel to Towers, and have collaborated to raise more than $11.6 million in support of wounded veterans for 12 years prior to today’s auction.

For more than 15 years, Chevrolet has worked with Barrett-Jackson’s charity auction program to generate millions in donations for great causes. This auction brings the total amount of money Chevrolet has raised at Barrett-Jackson charity auctions through the sale of eighth-generation Corvettes to $15.5 million.

Return of Build Your Own Engine Experience

This offering also marks the return of the popular Build Your Own Engine program, last seen on Corvette in 2019. With the reinstatement of this program, Chevrolet becomes the only automotive brand to offer customers a factory-guided engine build experience.

Beginning this spring, customers ordering a new Corvette Z06, ZR1 or ZR1X have the option to add the Build Your Own Experience to their order. This exclusive experience allows them to work alongside master builders at the Performance Build Center at Bowling Green Assembly to assemble and sign the V8 that will power their Corvette¹.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.  – Barrett-Jackson continues to build on its legacy of charitable giving with the sale of nine vehicles set to cross the block with No Reserve to benefit nonprofit organizations during the upcoming 2026 Scottsdale Auction, Jan. 17-25 at WestWorld of Scottsdale. Providing help for causes that range from educational programs and medical research to supporting our nation’s first responders and military veterans, 100% of the hammer price of the nine charity vehicles will go directly to the designated nonprofit organization. To date, Barrett-Jackson has helped raise more than $164 million for charity.

On Super Saturday, Jan. 24 at 5:30 p.m., Chevrolet will auction a one-of-one 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X Stars & Steel Limited Edition (Lot #3008) with a “one of one” exterior color and “Stars and Steel”-inspired design. Commemorating America’s 250th anniversary, this all-wheel-drive electrified ZR1X Corvette produces 1,250 horsepower from its turbocharged LT7 engine and electric front-drive unit. ZR1X is the ultimate expression of Corvette’s no-compromise eighth generation mid-engine platform. It’s an all-day comfortable tourer, a straight-line rocket and a racetrack star, all in one. The entire hammer price will benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a nonprofit organization that honors fallen first responders and supports injured veterans and their families through mortgage-free homes and financial assistance.

Crossing the block on Friday, Jan. 23, is a 1972 Chevrolet C50 (Lot #3005) that was custom-built by Constance Nunes of CARS by Constance. The dump truck was turned into a unique hauler powered by a Chevrolet V8 with Edelbrock upgrades and a custom MagnaFlow exhaust. Finished in Root Beer exterior with Red Candy highlights, this vehicle’s entire hammer price will benefit the ForeBatten Foundation, which works tirelessly to give children with Batten disease the best possible life, spreads awareness of the urgency to fund new treatments and helps all families affected by Batten disease. Also crossing the block on Friday is a one-owner 2005 Ford GT (Lot #3006) that is one of 776 examples finished in Mark IV Red. It is powered by a V8 topped with a Lysholm twin-screw supercharger capable of producing 550 horsepower. When the gavel falls, 100% of the sale price will benefit the Ryan Blaney Family Foundation, which is dedicated to raising brain health awareness and resources to support people and families who are dealing with Alzheimer’s disease or concussion diagnosis.

Three charity vehicles crossing the auction block on Thursday include a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon (Lot #3004) that was built in collaboration with Mattel/Matchbox to benefit Richard Rawlings’ Gas Monkey Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting first responders and advancing the fight against Alzheimer’s. The custom Jeep was unveiled at the 2025 SEMA Show and features a fully themed Matchbox/Husky interior. Benefiting notMYkid, a 1965 Ford Mustang convertible Resto-Mod (Lot #3002) known as “Black Diamond” is powered by a 450 horsepower Ford Racing Boss 347ci V8 and rides on Forgeline custom wheels. notMYkid provides prevention, early intervention and counseling support to youth and families through school-based education, mental health services and parent resources for challenges including substance use, mental health struggles, stress, anxiety, depression, peer pressure and digital well-being. A 2004 AM General Humvee M1152A1 (Lot #3003) was hand-built by Battle Tested Equipment/Battle Tested Armor and reimagined as a tactical overland rig. The Fighter Country Foundation, which supports the men, women and families of Luke Air Force Base in Arizona, will receive 100% of the hammer price from this sale.

On Wednesday, Jan. 21, two additional vehicles will be sold for charity, including a custom 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air (Lot #3000) to benefit the TechForce Foundation through the CRC Build for the Future Scholarship Program, whose mission is to guide students through education and into careers as professional technicians. Fueled by a hydrogen fueled Gen 3 HEMI V8 with Edelbrock 2650 supercharger, the build was led by veteran GM engineer Mike Copeland with NHRA Top Fuel World Champion, Clay Millican and “Street Outlaws” star Jeff Lutz. The sale of a 2025 Indian Sport Chief RT Motorcycle (Lot #3001) built by freestyle motorcross legend Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg will benefit Folds of Honor, a nonprofit that provides educational scholarships to the families of fallen and disabled service members and first responders. It is powered by the legendary Thunderstroke 116 engine and features patriotic paintwork honoring the American flag, military service and Twitch’s personal journey.

A charity vehicle from Ford, which will be sold on Saturday, Jan. 24, remains under wraps until mid-January, but it promises to be extraordinary, with every dollar from the sale benefiting a worthy cause.

Only fifty professionally built Resto-Mod and custom vehicles will be invited from hundreds of applications to compete for the Ultimate Best in Show and People’s Choice awards, which will be presented on the auction block on Saturday, Jan. 24.

“The exceptional quality of builds competing for the Barrett-Jackson Cup is staggering,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “To be selected as a finalist puts a custom vehicle builder into a very elite club. The People’s Choice award is decided by the vehicle that receives the most votes cast online from the public.

The 2025 Barrett-Jackson Cup Ultimate Best in Show was a 1968 Dodge Charger owned by Ed Ganzinotti and built by Classic Car Studio. The 2025 People’s Choice award was a 1986 Chevrolet C10 Squarebody owned by Bruce Griffin and built by Goolsby Customs.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.  – Barrett-Jackson is once again teaming up with NASCAR Cup Series Champion Ryan Blaney – this time to offer a 2005 Ford GT benefiting the Ryan Blaney Family Foundation during the 2026 Scottsdale Auction, January 17-25, at WestWorld of Scottsdale. Generously donated by a Ford and NASCAR enthusiast, the 2005 Ford GT was introduced today at WestWorld of Scottsdale during an online media preview with Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson, and Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. A special in-person presentation of the Ford GT with Craig Jackson, Steve Davis and Patty Aber, Managing Director of the Ryan Blaney Family Foundation, will be held Friday, October 17, at the Future Events display and will include a pre-recorded message from Ryan Blaney.

“We’re thrilled to work with Ryan and his team to sell the beautiful 2005 Ford GT in support of his family foundation,” said Jackson. “This is the second time we’ve teamed up with this great organization to raise awareness and resources for brain health. In 2020, we offered a custom 1974 Ford Bronco that sold for $650,000, with every dollar benefiting the Blaney Foundation. We’re gearing up for another sensational auction moment when Ryan joins us on the block in January to rev up our bidders and support his remarkable cause.”

The one-owner 2005 Ford GT, which was introduced today, is one of 776 finished in Mark IV Red for the 2005 model year. It is powered by a supercharged V8 rated with 550 horsepower and mated to a Ricardo 6-speed manual transmission. Originally purchased from a Ford dealer in Sparta, Wisconsin, options include painted racing stripes, red painted brake calipers, BBS forged wheels and a McIntosh stereo that complements the black interior. The GT has been stored in a climate-controlled garage since day one.

The donor was moved to contribute after learning about the Ryan Blaney Family Foundation’s mission in the brain health space. Having experienced the effects of Alzheimer’s in his own family, he chose to donate the Ford GT so the proceeds could directly support the foundation’s work, which includes funding programs that aid both individuals living with brain health challenges and the caregivers who support them.

“No one is better at using their platform to support important causes than Barrett-Jackson, and I’m thankful to Craig Jackson and his team for once again putting their support behind our foundation,” said Blaney. “To have a car as special as this Ford GT donated by someone from Ohio, where my family has its roots, makes this moment especially meaningful. Highlights included the sale of a 2023 Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster for $2.2 million during Super Saturday, presented by Gila River Resorts & Casinos. 957 pieces of authentic automobilia were auctioned for more than $5.2 million. Additionally, five vehicles ‒ led by the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 that hammered at $3.7 million ‒ raised a total of $6,205,000 for charity. To date, Barrett-Jackson has raised more than $162 million for charity. In total, the Barrett-Jackson 2025 Scottsdale Auction realized more than $198 million in auction sales.

Prior to the start of the event, Sammy Hagar and Friends Michael Anthony, Kenny Aronoff and Vic Johnson headlined the opening weekend with the second annual Rock the Block concert on Friday, Jan. 17. Saturday, Jan. 18, was Coca-Cola Family Day when children 12 and under received free admission and was highlighted by STEM Fest, presented by Honeywell, part of Barrett-Jackson’s Gearing Towards the Future initiative. Fifty world-class custom vehicles were showcased on the auction block on Saturday as part of the Barrett-Jackson Cup Parade presented by Castrol. This year’s Barrett-Jackson Cup winners included a 1968 Dodge Charger that took home the “Ultimate Best in Show” and a 1985 Chevrolet C10 pickup that received the “People’s Choice” award.

The Scottsdale Auction raised $6,205,000 for charity through the sale of five vehicles, which included:

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Barrett-Jackson and General Motors have teamed up to sell the first retail production 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 VIN 001 during the Scottsdale Auction, January 18-26, 2025, at WestWorld of Scottsdale. Offering the most power ever from a factory Corvette, the 2025 ZR1 will be auctioned on Saturday, January 25, at approximately 5:30pm with 100 percent of the hammer price from the sale benefiting the American Red Cross in support of hurricane relief.

“General Motors is going full throttle with their new 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “With its awe-inspiring 1,064 horsepower pushing it to a top speed of 233 mph, it’s both the fastest factory production Corvette ever built and a symbol of GM’s incredible generosity. Powered by a twin-turbocharged DOHC flat-plane crank V8 engine dubbed the LT7, the 2025 Corvette ZR1 boasts the most power ever offered in a factory Corvette, and the most powerful V8 ever produced in America from an auto manufacturer. The ZR1’s LT7 engine starts with the same architecture as the Z06’s LT6, the most powerful naturally aspirated production V8 engine ever, and takes it to the next level with twin turbochargers – the first time ever for a factory Corvette. The result is 1,064 horsepower at 7,000 rpm, a top speed of 233 mph and a 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds making it the fastest and quickest Corvette ever

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Barrett-Jackson will sell more than 1,000 pieces of authentic automotive collectibles and Americana during the 2025 Scottsdale Auction, Jan. 18-26 at WestWorld of Scottsdale. The Automobilia Auction, which is held each morning preceding the Collector Car Auction, will include original neon signs, restored gas pumps, kiddie rides and soda-related collectibles, each crossing the block with No Reserve. Among the most notable pieces of neon porcelain signs to be sold is a rare 1940-50s Cadillac Oldsmobile single-sided neon sign, which features original and untouched porcelain.

“Our Automobilia Auctions have become increasingly more important to car collectors and antique specialists over the past 30 years,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “The demand for authentic automotive-related collectibles to feature alongside vehicle collections began to grow substantially in the 1990s. Since then, Barrett-Jackson has sold many rare and significant pieces that are now the crown jewels in many prestigious collections around the world. We’ll continue that tradition this January when a docket of incredible items will cross the block with No Reserve.”

More than 90 original neon signs that will be sold at No Reserve include a 1950s Piggly-Wiggly single-sided neon sign. The 8-foot-tall sign’s iconic graphic was restored to its original condition. A late 1960s 7UP die-cut bottle-shaped sign features animated neon and Peter Max-style artwork. A large 1950s Esso Aviation porcelain neon airport hanger sign is extremely rare and has wings that are alternatingly lit.

Hundreds of authentic tin and porcelain signs are highlighted by a 1931 Texaco Clean Clear Golden Motor Oil double-sided porcelain sign. The New Old Stock sign was found in its original crate and features the original inspection decal. The Scottsdale Auction will also offer more than 80 original gas pump globes, including an Around the World Gasoline globe from the National Refining Company of Cleveland, Ohio, that features incredible artwork of futuristic transportation.

Some of the best restored vintage soda machines in the world will cross the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction block, including a rare Pepsi-Cola Vendo 81 soda machine. The fully functional unit has been restored to its original condition, including the rebuilt compressor.

“Everything a collector could want to add to their garage, office or home will cross the Barrett-Jackson auction block this January,’” said Rory Brinkman, automobilia director at Barrett-Jackson. “Some of the most sought after pieces will be among the more than 40 restored gas pumps dating from the 1920s through the 1960s. Among the highlights is a 1930s Texaco Oil Wayne Model #60 gas pump with art-deco styling that underwent a concours-level restoration. In addition, we have a rare 1920s Correct Measure consigned that underwent a nut-and-bolt restoration. A similar pump sold at the 2024 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Fall Auction for $80,500, so it’s going to be a very exciting offering.”

A selection of professionally restored and hard-to-find kiddie rides will also be sold with No Reserve during the 2025 Scottsdale Auction, including a rare Walt Disney Dumbo coin-operated kiddie ride. Professionally restored with hand-painted graphics, it features new chrome, carnival noise and beautiful operation. An extremely rare 1956 Ferrari Bimbo Racer electric children’s car  is powered by an electric motor for forward and reverse, and has operating headlights, chrome hubcaps and an upholstered interior.

Commonly referred to as the “Peacock Jukebox” because of its exquisite peacock glass artwork, a 1940 Wurlitzer 850 jukebox underwent an extensive restoration and features operating bubblers and the same walnut veneer used in the 1941 Cadillac.

Brewery items, known as Breweriana by collectors, will also be among the genuine Americana pieces to cross the block in January. Some of the most notable were crafted by Hamm’s Beer, which were popularized by their 1950 to 1960s advertising featuring animated or scrolling Northwoods scenery. Some items up for sale include a difficult-to-find large Hamm’s Beer Scene-O-Rama chalet-style sign (Lot #8418) and a late 1940s Hamm’s Beer glass-faced light-up tavern sign.

Automobilia Bidder Registration is $50. Bidders registered to purchase vehicles are automatically enrolled to bid on automobilia with no additional registration fee.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Sept. 17, 2024 – Barrett-Jackson will pay tribute to renowned Corvette collector and longtime member of the Barrett-Jackson family, David Ressler, by offering a dozen vehicles – including 10 beautifully preserved Corvettes – from his collection during the 2024 Scottsdale Fall Auction, presented by Gila River Resorts & Casinos, Oct. 10-13 at WestWorld of Scottsdale.

“Dave Ressler was a close friend and a generous person who was universally admired, and we’re proud to honor his legacy by offering 12 vehicles from his personal collection,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “Dave’s passion for Corvettes is evident in the quality of the vehicles he curated during his career. The collection’s 10 Corvettes are incredibly well-preserved, like the 1978 Chevrolet Corvette 25th Anniversary Edition with only 1,537 miles. I’m honored that his family entrusted Barrett-Jackson with the care of these vehicles to offer to the next generation of collectors and preserve his legacy for many more years to come.”

A testament to his love for Corvettes, the 10 Corvettes being auctioned in October include an impressive set of six consecutive C4 ZR1 models from 1990 to 1995. Among the stars of the group is a pristine 1993 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 40th Anniversary Edition. The last ZR1 off the line of 448 produced is powered by a 405-horsepower V8 engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and has only 40 miles. A 1995 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 with 73 miles and a 1994 model with 124 miles each feature a 405-horsepower V8 engine and are Bloomington Gold-certified.

“A self-made man, Dave worked his way up from being a bus driver and car salesman to arguably the most revered Corvette collector in our lifetime,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “Philanthropy and giving back to the community were just as much a part of his DNA as is his hard work and dedication to his career. We look forward to selling these wonderful cars and putting them into the hands of their next caregivers.”

Additional C4 ZR1 models from 1990 to 1995 from the Ressler Collection each come with a 375-horsepower V8 engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and include a 1992 model with 79 miles, a 1991 model with 134 miles and a 1990 model with 122 miles.

Four additional Corvettes from Ressler’s collection are a 1987 version powered by a V8 engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission and 18,226 miles; a 1984 model with a 205-horsepower V8 engine, 4-speed automatic transmission and 12,756 miles; a 1982 model powered by a 350-horsepower Cross-Fire Injection engine with 20,183 miles; and a 25th Anniversary Edition with only 1,537 miles that includes matching 25th-anniversary luggage.

Rounding out the David Ressler Collection are a 1977 Cadillac Fleetwood Limousine and a GM concept vehicle, the 1991 Geo Dirt Tracker.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Barrett-Jackson kicked off the 2024 auction calendar with their flagship Scottsdale Auction, January 20-28 at WestWorld of Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Arizona. In dynamic fashion, the event featured its largest auction docket in company history with 2,016 collectible vehicles, all selling with no reserve, for $200.9 million in auction sales. Additionally, Barrett-Jackson sold 1,180 pieces of authentic automobilia for $6.7 million, bringing total auction sales to $207.6 million, the most for a single auction in Barrett-Jackson history, with a 100 percent sell-through rate. Top auction sales included a 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing for $3.41 million and a 2018 Bugatti Chiron for $2.97 million.

Several of the most powerful moments during the 2024 Scottsdale Auction included the sales of four charity vehicles that together raised $1 million. 

The charity vehicles that sold during the Barrett- Jackson 2024 Scottsdale Auction include:

1. 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 3LZ – $270,000 to benefit the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation for Amyloidosis Research, including $50,000 donated by philanthropist and longtime member of the Barrett-Jackson family, Michelle Mauzy.
2. 1968 Shelby GT350 Convertible Re-Creation – $100,000 to benefit the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation by providing scholarships to students enrolled in the Carroll Shelby Automotive Program.
3. 2023 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Custom Pickup – $325,000 to benefit Building Homes for Heroes, including $50,000 donated by Mauzy and an additional $25,000 from Barrett-Jackson President Steve Davis.
4. 2024 Ford Mustang Darkhorse VIN 001. – $375,000 to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, including $50,000 donated by Mauzy and $25,000 from The Elayne Snyder Acts 20:35 Foundation.

With 1,180 authentic pieces of automobilia auctioning for $6.7 million, the top three automobilia sales included:

1. 1960s Cougar Oil of Alabama double-sided porcelain service station sign – $155,250
2. 1960s MoPar neon porcelain channel letter sign – $115,000
3. Circa 1940s-50s Mobil Oil neon porcelain rotating Pegasus sign  – $105,800
